Secret - the best advice is to take proper advice from your GP and insist on follow ups or referrals to specialists. If you google you will end up with a whole host of unwanted garbage, mainly from America and the Far east. You will also end up totally confused by articles with totally contradictory messages. As has been said, it is often beatable and once you are over the shock of the diagnosis you can set about the things that need to be done, lifestyle changes and treatment necessary. All the best.
Good luck with it mate. From my own personal experience if diagnosed early enough it can be dealt with Chin up
I'm not sure yet col, my mum has the details but its like getting blood out of a stone. I should know more tomorow hopefully meet her in sweeneys (ruislip) I just feel like I'm hanging here at he moment
Apologies, I now realize its serious. Cerny, very sorry to hear that mate. You'd get worse advice than telling your mum to explore alternative options. If you can get hold of a good Qigong Master, he can help cure it. I know one in London actually, his name is Marcus Santer. He's a top bloke and has had many good outcomes with all sorts of diseases. Failing that, you could tell her to look into Michael O'Doherty's treatments. He has helped cure many people with cancer. He's got clinics all over Ireland and in London too. It might sound hocus pocus but I'm telling you man, this sh*t is real. And its extremely powerful.
Keep positive secret my mum had a double mastectomy 7 years ago, she is still going strong and full of life, my thoughts are with you and your mum.
Ok mate. Well, all the advice you've had on here is spot on. Get all the information and then you can go from there. Being positive is key mate. All the best.
This forum often mirrors my feelings but never more so than on this thread. You have my utmost sympathy Secret and I hope it works out for you and your Mum I am currently awaiting diagnosis on a suspicious Ocular (eye) tumour and whether or not it has spread to other areas of the body. I'm 37 years old with two small children and to say I'm bricking it would not be an exaggeration. Fingers crossed for a good outcome for us both
Sorry to hear of your news SR, puts football matters into perspective. Hope your mum gets better and gets the treatment she needs.
Bloody hell mate. Good luck. Life is precious. Threads like this really remind me of the important things. My fingers are crossed for you too bud.
Cheers Guys. I didn't mean to hijack Secrets thread with my problems but I've not told anyone other then the wife and mother so as not to cause any unnecessary worry so it was quite therapeutic to tell someone. On a (hopefully) positive note, first game of the season for me at Stoke tomorrow, heres to the start of good things all round
Blimey hell. Put's all things Rs related into perspective doesn't it? Cerny mate, we are the Rangers family and we're all here for you. Also my wife works at the Royal Marsden, I'm sure she she'll be able to get connected with the right people to pass on any advice and expertise etc. All the best mate.
