Hull fan in peace.

I really have not kept up with you guy's this season and was just wondering why you let Adriano go?

Mainly because i thought when we signed him that as for any team in this league,
"if he is not good enough for 1 championship team then he aint good enough for us".

But he really has suprised all Hull fans he has been immense!

Good luck for the season, i think you will finish well clear of the bottom 3.

Before he signed for Wolves as a free agent he handed in a transfer request at Bristol City and no one came in for him so they agreed to terminate his contract then Wolves picked him up on a free and he never broke into the first team there

The rumour has it that he fell out with the then manager Gary Johnson when Lee Johnson (the then managers son) apparently took the mickey out of Basso's well known Christian beliefs during a training session which led to Adriano allegedly grabbing Johnson junior by the throat.

Apparently Basso was then told by Gary Johnson he would never play for the club again. In fact I believe he did play once more for us, away at Newcastle, the season before last but I'd need to check.

I wish we still had him to be honest !!

that was gerken at Newcastle away, and yeah he fell out with GJ and things were never the same, the fans still adore him and he still adores the fans, but the truth is nobody knows what happened

Basso has improved by the game and has firmly cemented his place as our first choice goalkeeper. From hearing interviews with him he seems like a kind, down to earth bloke who is a pleasure to be around, a refreshing change to the stories we keep hearing about some footballers at the moment. Bristol's loss is our gain, hope the Robins can pull well clear of the bottom 3 though!
