But as has been pointed out, there are no guarantees. Chelsea paid £50million for someone who turned out to be one of the worst strikers in the league. So **** in fact that they couldn't even get anyone to pay a transfer fee to take him off their hands and had to fabricate a two year "loan".
I don't mean to be greedy but Now it's Falcao's turn. Time to set the premiership alight mate. Show us what you can do!
When all 3 played in spain nobody would disagree. All 3 have come to england and showed the league up tbh though.
Falcao will take a little longer to get back up to full speed imo. After his injury and no real competitive footy for a while due to playing in france he will take some time to be at his best. Started well though. Directly involved in 3 goals from 4 games.
His goals will come christian, just show a bit of patience. Bet his tally at the end of the season will be 3 times what Taglatelli will get
Just good to see theres more to him than goals. Not that we didn't already know but always a bonus. Goals are his bread and butter. His record is mental.
Yes, absolutely phenomenal record. I would be rather disappointed if, with the service he gets from ADM and Rooney/Mata, he did not get into the 20s.
I just can't believe Florentino Perez let Di Maria go without a fight, it was like he told Woodward - '' There you go, you can have Di Maria if you want.''
Disagree tbh - I'd rather have all our forwards scoring and contributing to other's goals. That's always when we've been at our strongest - none of Yorke, Cole, Sheringham and Solskjaer were the most prolific of strikers whilst at Utd, but all supported each other and linked up well. Similarly with Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez and Berb - even as awesome and prolific as Ronaldo was he still contributed to goals for the other. I'd rather see Falcao score 15-20 and contribute to a similar amount of goals than end up like RVN, scoring 30+ a season but insisting that the rest of the team support him rather than him contributing to our all round game.
