I've just seen they've appointed Pochettino! Stupid if you ask me. He saved them from relegation in his first season, but as an ex Budgie (it's their nickname), he had the fans solidly behind him. Since then, they've hung around the foot of the table, always on the verge of going down but never quite daring to do it, but as the squad became divided and his team management became more foolish, they finally let him go. What exactly there was about this that convinced the Saints to offload a successfull manager to make room for this guy would make very interesting reading. Some people should just stick to football on the old PC and steer clear of real life.
The following managers have been sacked and definately didnt deserve to be using any previous criteria used for sacking managers over the last 10 years. 1/DI MATTEO 2/O'DRISCOLL 3/ADKINS ALL WERE PERFORMING WELL .ALL WERE SACKED FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THE WORLD OF FOOTBALL IS CHANGING AGAIN FOR THW WORSE.
