A friendly request, again. Many of us have gomarchingin on ignore (something I heartily recommend). By all means humour him if you have nothing better to do - but please don't quote his comments because it nullifies the fact that he is on ignore. Thanks much
I only wanted to see what managers you would be happy to replace Adkins with if he was sacked. I'd only be happy if he was replaced with a world class manager, and that isn't going to happen. Whereas, some people would be satisfied with Roberto Martinez, whereas I wouldn't becasue there's not much between the two-they're both good young managers.
Give the job to gomarchingin he's had plenty of experience managing on that computer game of his and he will have bankrupted us within a week.
Well, Martinez is proven in the Premiership which puts him quite a way ahead of Adkins. Adkins may be at the same level but we really don't know yet.
why is this topic up for so much discussion? adkins deserves a hell of a lot better than that, come on guys
I just think its pointless discussing it until it has actually happened. And as I don't think that will happen any time soon, and I don't want it to, and there is already a similar thread, I think this is a silly discussion. Almost like people want someone new. Until it happens leave things be, this is the kind of cr@p that the Sun or the Star find....
There are of course, many different ways of posing the same question. It is just a thought, but a thread which started, "Say Nigel decided to retire from football tomorrow, which Manager would you welcome as worthy to fill his boots?" might have got a kinder response. It avoids the polarising of opinions and is not seen as a knocking thread. I am not saying that the thread was intended to be an anti NA thread, by the way. I am just saying that in these tetchy times, it worth thinking about how you phrase your question.
Well done CF. Took the bad taste right out of the question. Mourinho for me, then. Quite a honour for him though.
