Read my post. I was saying that Adkins was rightly replaced by Pochettino. I was just just saying that he is a more interesting person in my opinion which of course bears no relation to footballing or managerial abilities. Now go and take your **** out on someone else.

Are you sure you don't find him boring because you don't understand what he's saying?

no i just think that Adkins is just more my type of person really. Company that is always bubbly sees the positive in most things and just enjoys life whatever is thrown at him. Maybe that same thing is why Pochettino is a better manager than him. Pochettino is much more serious. Maybe lives and breathes football with not as many outside interests etc.

Don't forget that I am only going by what I see on TV or read from each of them so it's more a case of what they seem to be rather than what they are. Just seems that Adkins would be the better company. Nothing to do with not understanding Poch. He does come across (in my opinion) as a rather serious person.

I am used to not understanding people. I don't understand what my Portuguese wife says and often does. Different cultures can often be very bemusing but I don't find her boring.

I find Pochettino boring just as I find Brendan Rodgers or Martin Jol boring. they have that monotone, serious sort of tone to their speech which (maybe wrongly) suggests they are not the most enjoyable of company. Maybe a little like my own voice :)

Mauricio is serious about his football and is a thinking manager, but I don't think he is a 'serious' person. He comes over as a giggler and seems to have fun with the players in training shots. They seem able to poke fun at him, so I think they are relaxed around him.

I deliberately left out your quote so as not to make it personal - apologies if you took it that way - it was the premise I commented on - that is all moving on.

Indeed but its more a case of I have laughed and giggled with several of my bosses. Enjoyed their company in the working environment. Didn't mean I would want to ring them up to go out for a pint though :) That's all I was suggesting.

Maybe I don't like people that much. I get on really well with all of my pool team. I'm the boss there. I never ever think of socialising with them though. I find that they are great company when the focus is on pool, but some would bore me silly and others would annoy me no end out of that 'fish bowl'. Like the family members who you find personable but not that interesting.

Anyway what does it matter. We are talking about a person being good at his job, not whether he is an interesting person.
