Besides me this man is the only other sensible poster on this thread who really understands football.

Pass back Hammond or the insperational genius that is Morgan?

    That is Adkins choice.

Even in the friendlly with Werder Bremen 78% of Hammonds passes were back passes.

They're both going to play a big role this season. Morgan is undoubtably blessed with talent and his range of passing is awesome. Deano can still do the dirty stuff for me.

To be honest I think maybe Hammond may well have to fight to hold on to his place this year. Cork has more experience at this level, so has spider. I do not think he will be skipper. As others have suggested that roll should go to Fonte IMO.

And Morgan gave the ball away for Athletico to score. But we'll gloss over that won't we?

Deano very much reminds me of Chris Marsden. He doesnt score alot of goals or even that many assists, you just notice it isnt quite right when he isnt there.

Deano is a quality CM he battles hard for the ball and will always give 100% effort. But then Chaplow battles even harder (sometimes a little to hard) Schneiderlin is class and has brilliant passing ability and cork seems to be able to do everything so for the now i would imagine that Deano and Cork will be our CM pairing as with yesterday but its not a bad selection choice to have is it?
