I mean, we still have Colback on the books, but Atsu is trying to outdo him I think in the ****ness stakes
Atsu is one of those players who simply doesn't have qualities to make it at the very top level. He could do a decent job for any number of teams in the second tier as he'd have more confidence on the ball. He's clearly a popular lad who trains well and is no trouble at all, but we really need to move on.
Would Lookman be the answer? Who knows until he starts a few games, but he definitely looks fast and tricky and still very young.

Why we aren’t seriously going for Jarrod Bowen is beyond me!
He’s played every minute of every game this season, 16 goals and 5 assists.
We could hoy in Atsu or Gayle as part payment.

Too expensive... probs could have signed him in last window, but now richer clubs are keen i suspect.
I think no business is the most likley outcome unless a club is desperate for cash and nobody bigger is interested
Colback took a bit of time to truly sink into the **** and become useless.
Atsu has played like 12 games is considered one of our most useless signings. I would consider Atsu easily the worst footballer at the club.
Opinion was once upon a time that he was an alright squad player. I remember people not screaming and shrieking about his involvement in games.

TBH I'd be pleased with that as long as there is no outgoings! I think once we have another 8-10 players off the injury table and if you're right on Jethro I'd be happy with the squad, especially if Aarons is back and taking Atsu's place
He was certainly decent during the champ season, he just isn't Prem standard.
Atsu ain't as bad as Colback, nor is he as bad as our pair of appaling orientals.

We need better players in cm , rb , striker and one compete with max and miggy , but we wont do that ...
Decent? Hmm.. not what I recall. He was a back up player then and got the odd game where he was decent. He should have been tearing it up.
He was **** from day 1... fans just give local lads less **** for longer than usual.. like rose tinted glasses... same with carroll .. hes crap , but put himself about and is local, so he will get away with it for a while
