    Italy have 38,068 refugees in their country at the moment. They've also handed out thousands of visa's to people, who would wish to work in the country.

    As much as I believe that a work permit was not the main source of this deal collapsing I do feel our countries look on wrok permits for footballers, reading that, is a farce.

    The amount of jobless people we let in from other countries and some footballers who are guaranteed work, payment and in turn paying taxes are one of the groups to get denied. Unbeleivable, beggars belief.

    Definitely agree. The fact you have to play 75% of Tier A internationals effectively means we can only have a maximum of around 20 players from each country around the world at any one time. Can you imagine the home office saying that architects can only be allowed in if they have worked on at least 75% of the major building projects in their country? Or doctors have to have performed at least 75% of operations in their hospital? Amnesty International would be chaining themselves to railings in protest...
