And deprive people from postulating and hypothecating on every single utterance from the press/rumour mill, in order to regurgitate their opinion for the 78th time since he signed for us ????????
And argue repeatedly with those of opposing views for the 77th time !!
With each new thread the pro-Adel camp add a little more to their rose-tinted memories of how great he was for us ... once upon a time, many years ago is the wonderful land of Shepherds Bush. At this rate by Christmas they will be saying that he was perfect in every game he ever played.
Those for him will say he fluttered on with his halo gleaming, whilst all fell in his wake, the crowd agog as he delivered yet another solo goal, adding to his tally of 355 for the season.
Of course, those against him will say that he threw his trident around, flooded the pitch with his tears and then went storming off moments later, kicking team-mates, v-signing all who dared get in his way and never playing a single pass.
I loved Adel in our Championship winning season. He was the most talented player I'd seen at Loftus Road for years. I'm currently reading Neil Warnock's book on that season (inter alia) and it's clear that Adel was an absolute nightmare off the pitch. If I were Harry, or any sensible manager, I'd need convincing that he had changed completely, 100%, before I'd touch him with a barge pole. Unfortunately, I doubt he ever will and I think he will waste a sublime talent.
