One major positive. Adel was clearly the best player on the park today. A fantastic performance capped by a great goal. He also lasted 90 minutes making great runs to the end. 9 out of 10 for me. He also looked like the Captain, not Park who should never be even playing.

didnt see the game today, but he was outstanding v west ham and completely changed the game for us.

At least MH got one thing right today - playing him.

The only bright point of today. Watch him get dropped for Everton.

I wouldn't say only. Nelsen played good defence. Cesar made a good save. None of the goals were his faults. Granero had a goal and an assist.

Agree, even though I have been the first to slag him off but today he was a real threat out on the left. Great goal, great game best in there half and not in ours.

Agree...he was fantastic today. few minor mistakes but his alround peformance was good...

goal of the season...?...Intresting to see who set it up and then scored the other eh...?!!

Long may they both keep it up...

These last two games are the closest thing Adel's ever got to a consistent run of form in Premiership, long may it continue! He definitely looked more of a Captain than Park, urging on the rest of the team after his goal. If we can keep it down to conceding only 1-2 goals a game there's hope yet.

He's not Captain material, but otherwise agree. He's been great for the last couple of games and long may it continue. I like seeing him like this - even when he loses the ball he doesn't sulk, throw his arms in the air or let his shoulders drop, which is something he has done in the past and it always seems to lead to him fading out of the game.

Keep the new attitude up Adel ol boy!

I'd like to know what mistakes these are. You mean losing the ball in the attacked half of the pitch? It happens, I wouldn't slag him off too much. It's all part of TRYING.

But, on the other hand, Hoilett really badly marked (or didn't mark) a player that led to the last goal.

Adel great great player...but no captain...everyone must admit, that he sometimes drifts in and out of matches... The captain is a stalwart on the pitch. Someone who will get picked for everymatch by right too (i.e. not Park)

At the moment I am not quite sure who that captain is....Ale next season but this season..

But this season.someone who gets picked by right for every match....can only be SWP!!!

flyer, hoilett didnt score against spurs mate
Who did he score against when he beat 2 or 3, the point is he was still dropped after that.

I did like Taarabt after he scored, no major celebration, just ran back to the halfway line tapping his head to tell everyone to keep focused.

I've seen Adel play just 2 matches but he left a really good impression on me. He seems a very very good with the ball and I think him and Granero will be our leading force this season. Or I should watch him play more games:grin:
