Largely agree with Queenslander and Eamon on this. It'll be interesting to see the effect the Hughes regime has on Adel and his game.

However, noticed Cisse is said to be at LR for a medical. If a transfer goes through there's still an outside chance a part x deal involving Taarabt is on the cards...

We need someone to create and make chances, Adel or someone else exceptional. Moses would have been a big help but he seems to be looking unlikely now. As it is now Traore is about the only player we have who seems to be able to get to the biline and cross a ball decently, Buz when he's on song perhaps.

Agree with awjm on this one - his form since xmas has been better and the workrate had improved (in his terms at least - he's never going to put in a shift like Mackie or Derry but he was noticeably trying).

My highlight was his double drag back followed by a nut meg mid way through the Newcastle game.

He has the skill for this level but just needs the maturity to spend the first 5-10 mins figuring out who, if anyone, he has the beating of and then playing his game based on that.

Since he's been back in, he hasn't tried too much but has still held the ball up well before playing it on with several defenders around him - ie much more maturely.

He said he wants to work for MH and hopefully Sparky's reputation will get the response needed for him. I really hope so anyway....
