You said Tarbs was MOTM today yet he didn't do much (or any) of what you say makes a good performance. Explain that rationale to me please. I thought Mackie played fairly well today although none of our players stood out because we were sh*t. Wasn't it you that was slating Mackie last week for not scoring after skipping past three Arsenal defenders? Tarbs receives the ball today on a plate, misses the chance yet he's unlucky? Your contradictions are legendary North.
I'm loving Taarabt at the minute. Yeah he missed that chance at the end but he seems to be one of the few players on the pitch really putting in that extra effort. Where he used to be tackled and sit on the floor for half an hour he now gets up and trys to win the ball back. He even bloody headed a corner away!! He's on the path to becoming a club legend and if he keeps creating moments of magic like he's capable of and displays the desire he has in recent weeks I think he'll acheive that status within the next two years.
So your 13 year old would have scored Tarb's sitter today then as well? Bloody hell COL, I never thought I'd hear you compare El Saviour Taarabt wiv a 13 year old!
He would yeah. Taarabt should have scored and imo would 19 times out of 20 in that position. Mackie's was even easier imo.....4 yards out and he put it straight at the keeper.
This is indicative of the Tarb-worshipper's intransigent attitude. No matter how much the more balanced among us move toward the centre on the issue, in an attempt to form a consensus, the arse-lickers refuse to open their minds and stick rigidly to their manic position. Mackie beat three players before he hit it at the keeper. Taarabt had it put on a plate for him and finished equally poorly. But "Mackie's was easier"!!! You know what Queens? I think you're right about these people.
Told ya....! We are not allowed to say Tarbs had a bad game or was rubbish..Its written in the Forum Rules dont you know !! Havent seen the game yet but watching it in about 6 hours, so wont comment until then !
Funny thing is Queens, he actually played quite well today. His work rate was once again on the money although his finishing was poor. I like what I see from him at the moment but there's an element on here that think he's the Messiah.
I know what you meen mate. I have publically said he's been playing well , but made the odd mistake. This is not acceptable to some though as he doesnt make mistakes. if he carries on in this form then he can be a good solid prem player this season and progress from there. But be carefull, you'll get banned if you put him down again.!! i like him much more than i did and just hope he can keep it up...we'll see !
Yep....sounds that way. I'll reserve judgement till I see the game. However, by the sounds of things, he at least was trying to get us back into it.
