Version of the same interview on SSN has Adel saying he won't play for PSG as long as Leonardo is there, but practically begging to go to Utd, even to sit on the bench.

Meanwhile, Harold is backtracking on his 'rant' on Saturday, saying he was only referring to 'or or two' players, and "most of the lads have been brilliant, top class". Still blames the players rather than Hughes "top, top manager' for where we are now. Wants to do well for the owners and 'I still feel we can get out of trouble'.

Whatever happened to dignity in football?

    So do many on here.

    Really?

    Doesn't it indeed.

Did anyone ever think of him in that way?

This stuff just winds me right up. It really does! He puts in a top performance once every month and almost everyone on this Board are creaming themselves, saying he's one of the greatest that's ever kicked a ball for QPR. Then he says he wants to leave and all of a sudden people are telling the truth: he's a good player with no consistency.

I should be happy when I hear guys agreeing with me but I'm not. I'm very angry because its all so shallow. If he kisses the badge and claps the fans then he could play for Man United or Barcelona. He slags the Club off and without warning, he's an inconsistent little mouth-piece that should shut his pie hole! It was the same when Warnock was here. He was a w*nker to everyone before he arrived but as soon as he's in our dugout, no-one could slag him off. Then as soon as he's left the Club, its "COLIN" this and "COLIN" that!

Like Oslo and the player arse-lickers, I just wish people would show some consistency in their beliefs and stop changing them at the whim of a brat's sound bite.

When it comes to the crunch Swords, he'd be the first out the door if he had the chance, trouble is he's deluding himself if he thinks any top team would have him after one or two good performances and that's why he'll still be here at the end of the season...

As for his agent talking to Milan, the conversation probably went like this:

Agent: Adel would like to use your great club as a stepping-stone..

    Milan: Shaddupa ya face!...<laugh>

@GaryLineker: Taarabt has revealed he's in talks with Milan. He hopes to use the move as a stepping stone to Barca or RM. Forgive me if I chuckle.

@GaryLineker: It appears Mr Taarabt has his fans. I bow to your superior knowledge and hope he somehow proves you right.

He really ought to shut his mouth, he has to perform like he did in the Fulham game every week in order to play for a CL side, not once in every 7 or 8 games.

Swords, having quoted my earlier comment, perhaps you'd be so kind as to dig out an occasion whereupon I extolled Taarabt's virtues to rafters rather than giving a balanced opinion, constructively criticising his immaturity and so forth. It doesn't particularly bother me that you're angry, however, as that's for you to deal with of course.

Interestingly enough, I have the impression that you started out consistently criticising the man and have only relatively recently begun to put some balance into your contribution on the subject. Perhaps this is a wrong impression, but I'd be interested to hear what others think.

If Adel was to go he would go with my best wishes. Hes been at our club for 4 years and has been a great servant entertaining us with football never seen at LR for years. He was the main reason we got promoted with all his match winning performances under NW. This guy has amazing talent and i still think he is destined for great things at a bigger club. If he was to ask for a transfer there would be no Judas chants from me. Having said that i hope he stays.

I don't feel comfortable aligning myself with a mouthy pundit like Linekar against a player from my own Club but I'm afraid what he's said is exactly my position. I do believe that as a fan-base we've allowed ourselves to get totally carried away with this player.

This really does annoy me. Its so hypocritical. No-one that I can think of other than Queens and Sooper (and Uber) have been saying that but out of nowhere - almost like a bolt of lightning - there's a number of posts on this thread saying exactly that. Its unbelievable! One good game in every 6 or 7 you say? Now where did I hear that before?!!! Yet when Queens or I said similar we were called trolls! <doh>

Uber, I apologise mate. You were in fact one of the more level headed assessors of Taarabt's performances. I do think however that over 90% of this Board lost the plot over this boy. And now when the idiot says something stupid, they're saying he's too inconsistent! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

There you have it: Consistency. I might disagree with them but at least Oddball, Imaz and COL don't change their views just because the boy has gone out and said summat silly.

Its the hypocrisy that riles me.

Exactly ............ Certainly not one to have next to you in the trenches.
His comments are no better than that of Anthony Mundine here in Oz, who has received a 'Lifetime Achievement Award' for being a career dickhead.

Whatever the truth behind these comments, I think HR needs to put faith in AT in these upcoming games by playing him in the number 10 role rather than wide left.

If we are to lose him to the ACON, then we have to try to maximize his contribution in the remaining matches: he still remains our most potent attacking threat, infuriating though he may be.

Never, ever forget what he done for us in our championship season. Got us promoted almost single handedly.

If we do lose Adel, in my opinion were as good as down (if we're not already)
