You're spot on. Definitely a gamble, but so was Gallas and that worked out okay. It's hard to judge City's valuation - they are a club with unlimited resources, so the price shouldn't be a sticking point. The player has indicated he wants to leave, that's another bargaining tool. I think Harry as got an eye for a deal, signing VDV was masterstroke. and a deal for Adebayor would go down as decent bit of wheeler dealing
Why would you consider leaving if the multi-board articles stay, Ensil? If you don't think that they're working after they've been available for a while, then explain why and stop posting on them. They'll either get changed or you won't care.
I think it's more of a clash with Mancini, Piskie. I think I read somewhere, today, that Mancini has him training with the youth team. A calculated insult, no doubt. There doesn't exacttly seem to be a lenthy queque of potential suitors, which may mean a good deal can be done. Like I said, a call for Harry & Levy. It could be a great triumph - or a great disaster. Difficult one to call.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...bayor-trains-Manchester-Citys-youth-team.html He doesn't look too unhappy though.
I honestly don't get why people would want them for match threads, to be honest. The rest of the time, I think that it's good to get another view of the game, but I can't see how a match thread is going to be anything other than arguments. There needs to be some trial and error with them Ensil, but if they ultimately don't work, then they'll be done away with.
It's obviously a problem, Ensil. However, like I said, there ain't exactly a lengthy queque of buyers. It depends if he actually wants to stop pissing about, and play football - he's not gonna get much game time at Citeh. He can sit his contract out, or take a pay cut, and play. It's not just us, nobody is gonna stump up the money he's getting at ****ty.
He would jump at the chance to sign for Real. I just can't see Mourinho going for it. PSG? is that a better prospect than us?
There's that, and, more importantly, for me, I can see the whole thing descending into a general Wumfest
It could, but if people want a place for some banter and a neutral ground to discuss common issues, that could be the place? Nobody wants insults flying around and tiresome tit for tat slanging matches, so why not all agree that this is the rule? Anyone who doesn't like the idea of that type of thread doesn't have to post there. But I think there are lots of users who do want it.
There is only a thawing because it's the summer, once August comes and the season starts hostilities will definately resume . Beckham is wrong in my opinion. 20 years ago a Liverpool fan could of said the same thing about Man Utd. It will only take City a few years of winning the PL and a couple of CL's and they will have the 'history' that Beckham is talking about.
I think we've all had to mod fans from our own team, we have to, to be fair, otherwise we just get accused of bias. Personally I've been called all the names under the sun by some of my own fans, but as long as I'm consistent with the approach, then the insults are misplaced. If we can establish what's acceptable on cross threads, then we've got a standard to moderate to. Nobody wants personal insults flying around and endless tit for tat comments. That could be basic premise for moderation?
Beckham is one to talk about buying history when he had the fortune of playing alongside Schmeichel, Keane, Cantona, Ince, Yorke, Cole, Sheringham, Stam and Nistelrooy
