yeah plus Defoe's wages. Probably best to see how Adebayor does first, IF he comes, before assuming all this dressing room disruption rubbish. How do you know how he would be disruptive?
 
According to Wiki his Premier League record (with Arse, ****ty & Sperms) is one goal every (just under) three games. If we signed him up now, with 15 games to go, that'd be 5-6 goals. I'd be happy with that, particularly if 2-3 earn points on the road.

I'm assuming if we do get him it's to provide RB/RM cover as there's no way we'd get someone in & then pick them in their strongest position i.e. Vargas, Fer, Isla etc.

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar took to social networking site Twitter in order to comment on Emmanuel Adebayor’s proposed loan move to Queens Park Rangers.

Evidently a move he long foresaw, he wrote: “QPR hope to complete loan of Emmanuel Adebayor from Spurs on transfer deadline day. " ......was always on the cards."

A deal, however, is still seemingly far from complete as QPR aren’t alone in eyeing a deadline day swoop for the striker, the Daily Mail reported on Friday.

“Tottenham are braced for offers to take Emmanuel Adebayor on loan, with West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers the likeliest bidders,” the report added.

And last night a separate report in the Mirror claimed that former boss Mark Hughes was keen on reuniting with him at Stoke City on loan.

However, according to the odds at Skybet, Harry Redknapp’s QPR side are favourites to land the Togo international before the 4th of February, coming in at favourable odds of 4/11.

The Hoops are in dire need of strengthening their squad as they bid to fight off relegation, and goals – especially on the road – are a must for a club in their position.

Adebayor on his day can be a prolific scorer, demonstrated by his return of 35 goals in 87 Premier League appearances for Spurs over the past four seasons.

Lord Sugar seems to think an exit is on the cards, and his lack of involvement of White Hart Lane over the past two months suggests boss Mauricio Pochettino has little need for him.

But where will he end up?

Transfer deadline day can be an exciting time for Premier League observers, and an Emmanuel Adebayor story is almost certain to be one of the most-watched scenarios throughout the day.
