I think one of the major factors in Adebayor leaving Arsenal was the cliques in the dressing room. There seemed to be too many objectionable arseholes in the squad, with Nasri and Bendtner leading the way, but with Fabregas not far behind, either. All four have since left, but is the squad any happier or less divided?
Relayer69 - O/T but just saw your signature. Yes I remember McAllister and that amazing central defensive partnership we often played in our season in the 2nd division of Perryman and McAllister! Amazing we got away with that!
Cheers Vim I was actually a fan of DM - he was a very capable and classy defender and worked bloody hard in a generally mediocre Spurs era. He lacked height as CB which probably stopped him becoming a top player. Talking of golden oldies - anyone see John Pratt rolled out to comment about Harry on BBC London News (tv) the other evening? JP lasted into the same era - and was another not massively gifted footballer but one who never stopped trying. (might be an argument brewing with GrandSpurs on that one, cos if I recall he wasn't one of his favourites!! Lol)
Probably a little more understandably though, Piskie. You're supposed to dislike the players of your main rival.
I think Adebayor can be a petulant **** when things aren't going his way, but I can't really dislike him. The fan stuff is just pantomime really.
