After following this on the updates, it sounded like a match where the win was what we deserved However Plymouth sounded well organised and tenacious and could have easily got a point. I was on the verge of predicting a 2-1 win, which would have guaranteed Plymouth hung on. Lots of pluses for us. Four wins on the bounce and a real feelgood factor emerging. For Plymouth I don't see a relegation battle coming, but probably not the surge up the table of last season either. Good luvk Greeny for the rest of the seadon (other than our visit to Home Park obviously ).

Only if Stevie Wonder was doing the ratings. KAG scored a couple of decent tap ins [poachers goals] but honestly, his overall game is woeful. He has got a poor touch and his passing and composure are 1/10 jobbies... Hopefully Igor Vetekole will be fit enough to partner Lyle Taylor soon.
Scoring a couple more goals should help his confidence, and therefore his all-round game Hope springs eternal.
I take optimism from the fact that this league really is krap, and in Lee Bowyer we may just have stumbled on a managerial gem. Once again yesterday at full time, a quick clap to the Covered End and then down the tunnel. Had that been Karl Robinson, he would have been masturbating in the centre circle.
Celtic are a different club from the Celtic of Jock Stein. I remember the time he waded into the crowd, Brian Clough style, to stop the sectarian chanting.
I notice that Bowyer praised Steer's distribution in his post-match on Saturday. Explains why Phillips has been dropped, and presumably has no future at Charlton. Much as I'd like to have seen him make the grade at Charlton, the writing is on the wall for him, and the sooner he leaves the better. At his age he needs to be playing.
Like Hart had to leave Man Citeh... Steer is a better passer than Dil and BowJackson wants to start moves from the keeper..
To be fair to Bowyer, he gave that at his reason for dropping Phillips two weeks ago. My son remarked at Southend how poor Phillips kicking was. It hadn't occurred to me. I also assume that goalkeeping coach Andy Marshall had worked with Jed Steer at Aston Villa. The only goal I would attribute fault to where Phillips is concerned is the first one at Sunderland - he was beaten at his near post. As you say, he needs game time.
You will no doubt agree that distribution has always been Phillips' weak spot, even in the U-18's, although even then he was a fantastic shot-stopper. Makes you wonder how Deano would have got on nahadays.
Gutted for Phillips really i don't think his done a lot wrong how many goals let in has he average a game 1 per game.
To add I also think we play the ball out from the back a bit too much and sometimes when it's too dangerous
It seems the Celtic fans didn't take too kindly to being beaten on Saturday, and did a bit of damage to the seating at rugby Park. It appears the wheel has turned the full circle since I left Scotland, when the Celtic fans were an amicable lot and the Rangers fans were terrifying, especially the women, as soon as they started singing "The Sash". There were also complaints about them singing IRA songs, which Jock Stein didn't tolerate. Mind you, he was treated abysmally by Celtic after he retired.
Did you see the Sky report on Killie yesterday before the game. Cracking little club. Steve Clarke opened a “fan’s wall”...and the supporters are trying to raise money to have a director on the Board
