No - Amos was poor on crosses yesterday, punching one from almost under his crossbar when a catch looked easier.
Harsh there - Billy Clarke looks very decent & Jason Pearce was outstanding yesterday. The only weak link in our current starting X1 is Forster-Caskey, and we have Reeves, Aribo & Konsa to slot in.
Just being realistic - some of them have previous in the Championship and didn't last the pace. Since then the Championship has improved 10 fold. If we go up we will need serious investment, similar to championship clubs who get promoted to the Premiership.
Without a doubt. Have a look at Millwall's line up yesterday, and ask how many of them would now get into our starting X1. The point I was making is that we now have a nucleus of 12/13 players who really should p1ss this league barring suspensions and injuries.
Do you not think that Fosu is currently a questionable link who has youth on his side to improve .... you said earlier in the season that he was a slight improvement on your fav .. Little Lloyd Sam?
Fosu is a better player than Lloyd Sam (& Calum Harriot) IMO - the raw materials including a lot of skill are there, but his composure & footballing brain are poor. That should come with experience. Having a 30 yard scuffed shot on the break with 3 team mates in front of you had Robinson hopping with rage on the touch line.
I thought Fosu had a poor game yesterday, although he helped set up the first goal. Maybe it was just a blip- I've seen him play better.
Not sure l go along at present with all the 'feel good' attitude. In my opinion we need another 30 points to the end of the season in order to avoid relegation. If we are in our current position come Christmas, l may change my point of view. We have a very thin, not to say weak, squad. The test will come if some of our regulars get long terms injuries
