I would love to know where all of these signings take place. I find the piece of abstract art on the wall at odds with the period fireplace.
It's a Cortese original. New contract for Jack Stephens now, wonder if that means he's close to getting a look into the first team squad? Seems to have ingratiated himself into the manager's affections by copying his hairstyle perhaps? please log in to view this image
Wouldn't it be awful if you were the one player not asked to sign a new contract. Everyone else developed a frozen shoulder from the weight of the watch, but not you.
Had to laugh at how foolish some of our fans are. This was a comment on the story on the Sky Sports webpage: I dont see a future for him with us, championship player at best, Puncheon and Ramirez are class and i hope they sign contracts through, wouldn't be bothered if Rodriguez or Clyne left either, poor signings in my opinion LMAO This one is funnier still: Great News. Now get rid of Jack Cork and get someone who does something with the ball and the team will be solid
This is one of those comments where a supporter forgets for a moment that, although they are committed in their love for their club, their opinion actually counts for very little. We should occasionally remember, even on Not606 [the home of the Southampton forum], that we are just reading and writing comments amongst ourselves. As they say, it doesn't amount to a hill of beans, in the end.
Here I must disagree; I'm fairly certain that Cortese spends most of his time on this forum, waiting in rapt anticipation of my next post, phone sitting at the ready so that he can make whatever transfers I deem essential with the utmost alacrity. I am also fairly certain that the government is trying to monitor my brainwaves, but since covering a bicycle helmet with tinfoil, it is my belief that they are now failing in the attempt.
I am OK in that department, I had a brain scan once, they assured me that they couldn't find anything, that explains a lot.
It's at times like this that I am grateful that we have a Chairman that doesn't give a f*ck what any of us think!
I had a brain scan once and afterwards the consultant asked me if I would donate my brain for transplant when I died. I said yes and felt really chuffed to think my brain was considered good enough for transplant surgery and started to think about the lucky recipient when I asked "why my brain?" hoping for a reply to the effect of how special it was only to be deflated by the reply "Your brain is in near mint condition and we can find very little evidence that it has ever been used".
Just found this article which gives a lot of impressive stats about Adam: http://blog.squawka.com/2013/04/22/adam-lallana-southamptons-secret-saviour/201304227655
