Was Adam at the game last night only ask cause he has gone very quite since his take over of fc.After the blackpool game a few of us were talking about the lack of soundbites from Adam and wondered how long he would stick around with city.

I think you will find he is busy behind the scenes which is how it should be. I only want to know when the deals are done. Keep it Q T until such times has to be the way forward. Patience people.

Mr tickler i hope he is busy behind the scenes working on all things hull city. But was he there at the game i just wondered if he went

Did not see him but i would be amazed if he wasn't. Look at it this way. A year ago City lost 4-0 @ Millwall and it got better. The squad is doing Ok but it needs more quality experience to go with the youth. Wait until the October International break (2nd) and lets see how City are doing. 3 games is way to early.

If City win the next 2 home games thats 9 points and the picture looks better. Get my meaning mate ?

City are a work in progress for sure.

Gone from losing 4-0 to 4-1 in a year. Wow, progress.

Really though, we've got a "Director of Football Operations" who's too busy eggchasing, and a manager who'll never get sacked because Our Great Leader won't admit he's got it wrong, again. We're not a work in progress, we're a work on hold at the very best.

To be fair, Frenchy was asking for that (even if he didn't imply that at all).

So you consider pragmatic spending on signings (not 'splashing the cash', as Leicester are and evidently not doing it effectively) a work on hold? We've bought sensibly so far and are still leaving space for a few loan signings, which were conjucive to a play-off challenge last season.

NP will be under huge board and fan pressure should we keep up a points to game ratio of 1, but I'm pretty certain that won't be the case in a couple of months. As for AP, he is is splitting his loyalties, but as a non rugby fan I'm still confident that his role at FC isn't affecting what he's doing at City <ok>

Why are you bothered? You don't seem to care if the owner, commercial manager or even the football manager was there. Why are you so concerned if the "director of football operations" was at the game? Directors of any business do not need to be on the "shop floor" to be working for the business,
or company.

<laugh> We can't all be bright.

Despite the fact He's recently purchased the egg chasers I'm in no doubt that Adam will remain at the club for years to come. He's a sensible businessman with genuine love for the club. He's intelligent and efficient enough to work both posts as owner as FC and our head of football operations perfectly well.
