    If they were world class players then clubs would be willing to shell out £40m+ for each of them. Neither of them are world class at the moment.

    I think the only surprise there is Cech in goal, but Marshall was never likely to win it. I also guess Kompany won it because it was between himself and Terry and noone would vote for the latter!

    Great for Southampton though and the first time since 89/90 with no Man U players in it, times have changed!

    Surprised that their peers have memories that last longer than half a season. I was thinking that Sterling might nick in there and get Adam's spot. Luke winning at LB is tremendous.

    Cannot find any team of the year that was all English since the PFA's inception. The last all British XI was 91/92.
