Luke just on SSN, looking very smart. His comments... "For me to be 18 and played 30 odd games is something I was dreaming of. To have done it is very good." "The England stuff was probably the best feeling of my life. I want more of that so I will keep pushing myself." "We've got two games left and then we'll have to see what happens at the end of the season." "Southampton's a great club for youngsters. I've still got a lot to learn." "It's nice to be linked with those clubs, but like I said, I've got football to focus on." Asked if he would be happy to not move clubs: "Yeah, of course. It's all rumours really."
The reputations of these two are growing by the day it seems. I just don't see how we will keep hold of them despite what they or the club says.
I was actually being positive. They are two fantastic players and we will find it really difficult to keep them. A year ago I would have said Adam is a Saint for life but his game and reputation have grown bigger than I expected.
How can saying you think they will leave be positive? We are not the Saints of old, just wait and see what happens in the summer. I can't see either leaving.
He never left in league 1 for then premiership Sunderland ........ What makes u think he will leave now? For me he will be the one who stays, he will only go if the club gets offered silly money, don't forget 25% sell on to Bournemouth so it would have to a silly money offer.
We're the eight best team in the country - and our players are young. We're going to get better. The question mark is whether we keep the manager. I think we will. If we don't, maybe people will leave.
I hope they both stay, of course. And I agree they are both happy at Saints. But to think we can keep our best players year after year when teams like Arsenal and Newcastle can't seems a bit arrogant.
Adam Lallana has now been named in the PFA Team of the Year for... Premier League - 2013/14 Championship - 2011/12 League One - 2010/11
