    Spot on <ok>We're always told the main cornerstone of the law of our land is innocent until proven guilty. Naming high profile people in this way is highly prejudicial and I don't actually see how they can be guaranteed a fair trial.

    I agree that AJ should never have been named ...... it is a media circus for public gossip not public interest.

    however there are some totally sick bastards out there who deliberately choose their victims carefully & one single poor witness will not produce a case against them & it is only by showing a pattern of behaviour that will ever get a conviction

    On a personal note, my teenage daughter has just went and got herself a paper round that has got me worried bloody sick..You just don't know if and where these convicted sex offenders are living in the community...I'm busy it the minute drumming it into her about safe guarding herself, and I'm also making sure she has a personal attack alarm with her at all times....

    Its not just the convicted ones you need to worry about ..... In general people are more likely to be abused by someone they know than a stranger

    make sure she knows she is loved & valued as a person & that no one has the right to touch her without her consent :)

    Do what I did with my daughter.... Walk the paper round with her pointing out both the 'good' & 'ugly' things that are happening at 0700 in the morning.
    Luckily she didn't last too long at it... She prefers getting money for free off me and have a lie-in instead!!
