I saw Sol Campbell at the fish counter in Tesco a few years back! He was wearing a bobble hat and was trying to hide! Was ****ing funny!

Met Eddie Newton, formerly of Chelsea!

I was at Winchester Cathedral for Alan Ball's funeral. Loads of people including Nobbie Stiles, Banks, Charlton, Roger Hunt, Cohen, Fergie, George Grahem, Law, Shilton, Walcott, Le Tissier, Trevor Brooking were there. I only saw Stiles.

One hell of a sad day. Was outside the cathedral and they miked up the funeral proceedings.

    Sad.

I kind of thought it was cool as I hadn't spotted him and it was only when his wife picked his hat up that I realised he was there and that she was also his wife!!

Met Carragher in the club store after the Auxerre game, was buying full matching LFC kits for his kids with 'Dad 23' on the back. Red through and through that lad! Was surprisingly tall then as well as i hadn't had my growth spurt. Star struck (me not Carra) doesn't cut it!

i used to be a night manager in a 4 star hotel in jersey and rob jones was staying at the hotel,he signed my liverpool shirt for me,on my days off my then girlfriend and i went clubbing with rob and the girl he was seeing,it was amazing and he was a top bloke.
Also we had the nottingham forest team and man city team stay whilst they were managed by frank clarke, stuart pearce what an absolute nutter, but what a top man.
Unfortuantly when frank clarke came with the man city squard i had to wake him up at 5am to tell him that peter beagrie had been arrested at the hotel, for serious offences committed in st helier,he wasnt happy and beagrie never played again.

We (a coach load from Bristol who were up for the weekend) were lucky enough to blag our way into some function room inside Anfield at the start of the 1984/85 season, after just winning the European Cup, League & League Cup.

Also in there that night were Rushie, Kenny, Phil Neal, Jocky, Barney & Brucie.

Got all their autographs and they're still somewhere in the house.

Must dig it out some time and take a trip down memory lane.

I thought you lot were precious about staying on topic?

I took a piss between Ryan Giggs and Paul Ince in Athenaeum in Manchester. I didn't look down.

I also took a piss next to Gordon Brown at Old Trafford once, when he was chancellor. I was on a beano there and he was there with all the europen channcelors. If I'd know then what I do now.......

Forgot to mention, I've been to a couple of social barbeques in Marbella that Glen Johnson was at. He's good friends with good freinds of mine, know him well enough.

    Nice bloke.
