Duff is not Acun’s man. Neither was Grant McCann. I would wager that if McCann had us top 6 when Acun bought City, he still would’ve sacked him for Shota or someone else. Brum’s owners sacked Eustace for the same reasons.

The irony is, that they want to make sure they keep Duff due to him guiding them to a fourth place finish. But without Will Jarvis, they probably don't manage that fourth place finish.
Sounds like a lot of it is about adopting the group playing style and approach to recruitment. So essentially, being our feeder club. I think it's reasonable for them to have a problem with that, but surely they knew what they were getting into when they did the deal. Seems odd to be unhappy with it now, and if Acun is happy to entertain re-selling it that's even weirder.
