Its going to be an interesting one. There are always a couple of the bigger sides who go though a sticky patch like Liverpool did last year. If we had carried on our first half season form though out the second half of the season we would have finished 6th. I guess its going to come down to exactly that, can we keep players fit? I think 8th would be a big achievement and would set us up nicely for a crack at Europe the following season. Remember our squad are very young and are getting better with experience.
Agree with that...but id stick Liddypool in the league above alongside Arsenal. Im hoping that this year we get closer to Everton and Fulham and further away from the likes of Stoke and West Brom. The business this year has been good so far and im just hoping that we get some experience in (seems like he is aiming for it). On a side note, does anybody know how these new FIFA regualtions on a clubs finances are gonna effect dealings next season?
FIFA regs are b*llocks. Loads of ways and means round them. eg, Whats to stop man cities owner going into the club shop and ordering a million shirts at £40 a time. Might seem extreme but thats pocket money to this guy, hey presto man city have £40 mil to spend. Accountants, barristers, finance whizz kids will all get round these minor irritations
no mid season slump, strong performances in the derby games, top 10. all i want (well, from football anyway)
