    Not pretty and didn't play well but a win a clean sheet and still loads of players out through injury.

    I've not felt this optimistic and confident about the team since big Sam was our manager, with Kaboul and kone in CD, kirchoff and mvila in the middle plus defoe up front.

    Obviously that squad was Premiership quality but our current team is giving me a similar feeling.

    Oh, and Gooch is the surviving squad member from that premiership team.

    I mean some step up for Winchester, he did look a bit lost, then he looked ok, then tidy, now he’s like ‘I ****ing belong here’.

    I like when him and Scowen are together on there they bite the ****ing ankles off the oppo and choke the life out of them at times.
