McCrorie booked yet again! Seeing that line-up in defence, it is no wonder Stanley took Pompey to the cleaners. Saw Stanley last week v Tranmere. Dominated the first half but the second was quite even. PS: I imaginé some Championship clubs will be sniffing around Colby Bishop, perhaps even a PL side. Could he be the new "Vardy?"
A rude awakening. The good run has been coincident with more consistent team selection. Clearly injuries forced substantial changes to the line up but this will happen from time to time in a season hence the need for depth in the squad - which I thought we had but it was not apparent today! With three of the back four out the back line changes were forced but by putting Naylor into the back line both the backline and mid field were changed. I felt he had other central defender options and could have left the mid field alone although I do not know how relevant this was to the result.
