You mean Angus was down on his knees and said , please please don't be a Jessie and field a strong team if not I lose half a million quid with been out of this competition
Personally I wouldn't be too bothered. I have heavy links to Accrington. You might even say that they are my 2nd club. I always want them to do well. I'm supporting Leeds on the day but if Stanley win it secures the club for another season. From a Leeds perspective. It depends on the team we put out and the performance. We should win, we need to win but its football. Things don't always pan out that way. I'm expecting a strong Leeds side who will win the game quite comfortably. We've given Marsch two transfer windows, there are no more excuses. Time to win football matches. What would you do if we lose at Stanley? Sack the board (which includes the 49ers btw) and the manager? Have a summer clear out of players and start again? What's Sniffers master plan? Who are you going to get to run the club and who is your manager?
I dunno mate. I'm Leeds through and through. I'll be there today and I've turned down hospitality and a spot in the big boys room with the big wigs to sit with the lads in the away end. That's my thing. I'll be singing with the Leeds fans all game with my son and celebrating (hopefully) the goals that Rutter scores. (@milkyboy only goals in PL count) But if we don't win, or even lose, I won't be too downhearted as the people at Stanley have poured their heart and soul in to that club. They are good people. The owner has sunk millions in to that place after he bought it when it was on the verge of going under. He's upgraded the stadium, kept the manager, bought young players from non league and sold them at a profit just to keep the place open. I'm happy they get a payday today and I'd be happy if they got another out of us or in the next round. However, on this one occasion, I'm hoping Leeds stuff em. (Much to the amusement of the staff over there). They couldn't believe I didn't want hospitality in the warmth in the new bar area so I could sit in the stand in the cold with the away fans. I'll be known as Judas next time I go to a game.
Nice one. Wait till @jammy reads this and smells a free hospitality suite available. Await bombardment by pm’s shortly
I am offering my help so uou can have a better match day experience with the common people. Don't forget to sing about willys plonker and your hatred for Chelsea. I also have some retro songs to aim at the police referencing harry roberts. Plus you can question the parentage of the referee and his crew. Don't forget to throw beer everywhere when we score. Make sure you stand up all the game or you won't see a thing. When the stewards ask you to sit down shower them with abuse and V signs. Drink the away end dry and then call Accrington just a small club near Burnley/Blackburn. Plus the all time favourite chant of.. Your supposed to be at home.
Forgot to add if Emma turns up.. Get your tits out for the lads.. But be inclusive and add also ladies of that persuasion.
You'll be fine, 3 of my mates have been in spoons since 8.30, waiting for the 11.00 train, can't be too careful, don't want to miss it.
I gave up, keeping up with them years ago. The one is unreal what he puts away, he'll probably buy a bottle of wine to takeaway and drink that on the train too and they'll be on it until 11 tonight.
Nice to have a no pressure game for a change. Win or lose won’t make a huge difference to season unless of course we go on to win the thing
Two goalies on the bench? Donny is not even first choice for the u21s. Just who is our first choice backup keeper?.
