Mathie has been moaning that we are slow and not passing very well so far but to be honest, I don't think he's giving Accrington credit for the closing down they are working hard at. Now that we have the goal I expect us to be more confident on the ball and really start to pick Accrington apart. They haven't been good but have worked hard at getting close to the ball quickly. We should be able to pass through them now as they come looking for a goal.

The game is there to win, we just need to be a bit smarter clearing the ball. Too many aimless clearances and it's gifting possession straight back to Accrington

We have not been good this half, we've struggled to make passes or get a hold of the game and Accrington have put us under pressure, made easier but the number of times the ball has been given back to them with our defending.

Unfortunately, it still looks like we have a soft centre away from home. Still haven’t had consecutive wins this season (really thought we’d get that today) and after another defeat against a team we really should be beating, I think it will be an entertaining yet frustrating season and we’ll finish between 8th and 12th. I would love to be proved wrong and made to look foolish with this prediction but think we are far enough into the season to make it.
