Wonder where Aluko was, perhaps sick with something?

His wife gave birth either yesterday or today. Most pleasing thing about Celina today was his work rate. Always been technically gifted but he put a real shift in today. Not at all sold on Carroll, he’s fine in possession but shirks 50/50 challenges

Royston, agree 100% on Carroll, great on the ball but boy is he a bottler in the challenge!

I thought Woolfie had a good game too. Didn't flinch the tough tackles, distributed well, good on the ball and liked the way he came out. His talent was never appreciated or given time under Cook. So pleased has come good.
Just wonder what Mackenna could have done with Downes! One of the several players from the old team that slipped away that might have been nurtured under him.

Morsy has been charged over his behaviour on Saturday, pathetic really.I’m glad we’ve got a skipper prepared to mix it,we’ve been powder puff for too long and it was part of the reason we were relegated, the likes of Skuse and Chambers weren’t prepared to get stuck in with the physical stuff.Even SBR acknowledged you had to earn the right to play your football by doing the dirty side of the game.

Looks like he could be out for 3 or even 4 games.. will be a huge blow, as he's probably the only irreplaceable player we have

It won’t hurt other players to get some game time. Shame about the timing though. 6 pointers coming up.

If found guilty after club response & defense of his actions, how long is he likely to be out for? How critical might that be? Lucky we have cover, tho no-one can be a Morsy!

Most likely a three game ban. It was hardly extreme violent conduct.

I’ve looked at the clip again and again. The Stanley player raised his arm to stop Morsy going past him and he reacted to push him away.If Morsy had fallen to the ground dramatically then the boot would have been on the other foot.I’ll admit I’m probably biased though!

Luckily only one of those 4 is a 6 pointer but every game is 'ought to win' and we know every match will be tough. We will miss him.

Don’t understand how they’ve arrived at a four game ban. Even the red card is questionable.

As you say gaffer, at least he’s back for MK Dons, Rotherham etc.

I think they edited the bit out, where he dashes off the pitch, goes to the pool table, fills a sock with balls, then dashes back on and clobber s the Stanley player :)

Yeah, 3 game suspension when with boro, which was why he couldn't play for us for the first three games
