Given some of you will be visiting Sunderland next season there are some lovely places to stay In Newcastle.

All the Mackem players avoid living in the hovel that is Sunderland and reside in and around Newcastle, the capital of the North East so you will be in Exhalted company.

Malmaison, the Copthorne or Gosforth Park are my top tips.
