    I don't get why we've excluded Skipp and Tanganga from this competition, as they won't get significant first team time.
    Playing them in the same side as Parrott would've improved the team's chances and the familiarity of the players.
    As I've said repeatedly and tediously, the academy and the first team need to be more flexibly combined.

    And that's how it finished.

    Bayern finish top, as their H2H wins out over Red Star on away goals.
    We now need to better the Serbians' result in Greece on the final day, as we have a superior H2H record but one less point.
    Failing to get anything in Belgrade really cost the academy side and Parrott's absence was probably key.

    Liverpool won the Youth FA Cup last season and they're 2nd in the Northern U18s Premier League to City.
    Our U18s have been quite up and down this season, largely depending on who's available and who's being used elsewhere, I think.
