Richards is a striker, but he's only 18 and our whole youth system's looking rather flimsy and empty at the moment. No Austin, Tanganga or Parrott, plus some players playing out of position. Where's the depth? We look miles behind some of the other clubs in this area at the moment.
As I mentioned before, the OS lists 30+ players in our U23 squad, which is unsustainable at that level so loans are needed for those at the higher end of the age bracket - and the fact all the loanees are between 20-22 indicates there's a reasoning behind which players are loaned
I think I've heard of two of those players, including the goalkeeper. Massive turnover would explain the early season results at that level, as well as having a new coach.
