0-1 against Barcelona at Hotspur Way. Having completely dominated the first quarter of the match, we find ourselves behind to a header from a free kick. That sounds vaguely familiar somehow.
Feel sorry for the lad I had that about 8 years ago 10 months on crutches. The first 3 months was hell
Poor ****er. I hope that he has a full and quick recovery. The timing's especially poor, as he'd just started to make an impact on the first team squad. He must be distraught.
Real shame, was impressive in pre-season. Looked like this was set to be his breakthrough too after his cameo at Newcastle.
Thoroughly well deserved. He reminds me of the very young Steve Perryman - all non-stop action, driving forward but able to defend very well. There seem to be two of him on the pitch. as he turns up everywhere but he doesn't seem to tire. He continues to impress and we probably should have gone with him off the bench, instead of Sissoko on Wednesday. Sissoko is for bringing on when we're already ahead. When we're chasing the game he just holds us back. His first team debut can't be far off.
I think that it's more likely than not that he will be on the bench today and 50/50 whether he'll get on the pitch.
Harvey White, Rayan Clarke (x2), Armando Shashoua, Dilan Markanday, Troy Parrott and Baby Poch on the scoresheet
While loaning out Edwards and Shashoua will aid their development, it's removed the main outlets for the U23 and it shows in some unbalanced performances
