FULHAM 3 READING 0 Another great display by our lads,on top of other achievements this makes the Acadamy under 18s Barclays league cup winners. My assessment of todays performance was a good team effort, supported by some great individual play Rodek goalkeeper solid pulled off a couple of good saves,and whos distribution was 90% accurate. Passley & Richards full backs who were not afraid to attack on the wings. Donnaly, Arthurworry,Sambou,very confident. Sambou constantly improving with match fitness. The Tank & Woodrow ,I thought below their usual standard,Patrick Roberts brillant in flashes, Dembele superb,played a centre fowards role,big strong and 2 footed,his 1st goal a scremer outside the area into top right hand corner,(and as a Reading supporter said if he becomes half as good as his namesake, what a find you have.) But for me the M O T M was Hyndman,a pocket size general who commanded the midfield, and from where most of or attacking moves came from. Not forgetting our 12th man Steve Wigley whose vocal instructions must have been above any H&S decibel levels. This team through their ability and atitude this season has given me far more satisfaction than many of the lacklustre performances the seniors have shown. Lets hope that they improve to a degree where they can be appreciated on a bigger stage Congrats" to all.
