I think Arsenal87 was there - you know the guy who is crtical of the team and gets abused for not being a fan.
You were outplayed on the night. So what? I'd still rather watch a Wenger team than a Pulis or Allardyce one. They can't win much any more but they make football enjoyable as long as you don't care if they win. Keep up the good work.
We lost 4 nil just like you only we had just 10 men for 70 minutes and it was real madrid....but if you re writing history so it was 5 nil makes you feel better knock yourself out...seriously....ahahahahaha
We were awful tonight and deserved to get beaten. That said we were unlucky with the goals. (1) Poor kick out by Szczesny - great finish from Boateng (2) Offside (3) Unlucky slip by Vermaelen (4) Not a pen Kind of Academic now really though.
But as Wenger said before the game, he studied the way Spurs beat Milan last year, they played it tight, were out played but caught Milan on the break. He made it clear he wouldn't be trying that.
No Piskie - we were not unlucky tonight. You remember your article about how you agreed with Wenger's assessment on how to play this game - i.e. just go for it. Well this is the result. No manager worth his salt would go to Milan and play open.
Notso - pls get your facts right. It's not the same team - this team is a year older and a year slower.....
Nobody had a good game really. I thought Rosicky at least tried to get something going. Arteta, Ramsey, Song were never even in it really.
He's actually been pretty **** in Europe for a while. he doesnt have any sense when it comes to tackling. Just rushes in when he cant possibly win the ball. Remember the Barca goal 2 seasons ago when he came rushing out, missed it and it was headed on to a completely free..... Messi!
Hello !!! So would anyone - unless they were a Stoke or Spam fan .... actually a number of them were watching your humiliating defeat this evening so I guess that counters my first comment.
I said we were awful, but the way in which we conceded was unlucky. Did you not think the offside, the slip and the dodgy pen were unlucky? As for going for it, we never even got started.
One positive: Less fixture congestion after next week. Let's hope we can bottle the FA cup so we can focus on the league and acheiving that grand prize of fourth place. Pathetic.
Robinho was offside in the build up but not when he scored. Luck didnt come into tonight - we were just ****.
I don't think I need to edit anything. I told it like I saw it.... The pitch was a disgrace, the referee wasn't great and we were RUBBISH. because I'm admitting that we were crap, I don't see how I could be seen to be making excuses
