I think this is our very own not606 scandal. Will the abused be silenced by threats? will the knowledge that the abuser has friends in high places intimidate them ? Will his "whiter than white " image mean no one can touch him, and will the BBC start to investigate then pull the story mysteriously? Or will the abuser go on to more and more perversions, the youngsters attracted to his exciting lifestyle (like the young, impressionable LIW and his friends) becoming the victims of his dastardly deeds? Only time will tell. Or we could stop this total bol lox and move on, of course (just a suggestion).
Elland done what he thought at the time was the best thing to do for the sake of the forum. It was nothing to do with Simon or the fact that some says (see what I did there?) that Simon was being hypercritical. Mods are nothing more than posters like your good selves on the Leeds page and all hold there own opinions, but at the end of the day we are here to make your experience a better one and we unlike many on mods on here dont rule with an iron fist.
Lets keep it that way. Elland is a top bloke who intervened when he obviously thought things were becoming a bit too personal. As the debate hasn’t stopped & just boiled over to this thread would you like me to ask him to open it on a closed basis so you can read what was said? Theres been a lot of divide on this board as of late, which is fine by me as you cant please all the people all the time but do remember there is an ignore feature available on the control panel although I don’t encourage its use, as we are all adults. If any of you have a problem with how the board is modded then please feel free to bring it to my attention via private mail, or indeed if you have a problem with what I am doing and don’t think you can talk about it to me, fire a mail off to brb (the daddy of mods) or indeed simon or elland

Elland has had the bollocks to unlock the thread and your see its not a big deal. Nothing has been said that hasnt been covered on this thread so lets get over it and move on.
Liw comes across as a proper foaming-at-the-mouth madman on that thread, christ.

I actually wasn't even there, although I am starting to like the idea of being a shadowy super-villain who uses his mod powers for evil instead of good.
