Sorry I should have elaborated. I meant in general not on this one particular thread. I was wondering if one of the reasons we, the English, are disliked is because we forced our tongue upon you all.

Actually the language we speak tody was imposed (holistically speaking) on the English by the Anglo-Saxons, the Celts, The French, The vikings and the church (Latin).
