lol, well i suppose Reina is next in line and will keep him happy but i've never been a fan of goalkeepers being captain, so if i had the choice it would have to be Agger, although i wouldn't say no to Lucas either Same question to you??
Reinas a good shout if he's still at the club, although I think Defenders/Midfielders make the best captains as they have the most influence on the pitch. Agger just isn't consistently fit enough so for me it would have to be either Lucas or Skrtel Or Carroll if he chops that mop off
Drogba looked great the two times he got off up the grass and ran down the pitch! And it's got to be (full recovery willing) Lucas, not a mouthy critter but generally Ice calm & model Liverpool player. The guy I want the youth seeing as how one of our players should be.
It's amazing how far he's come as a player, he got shed loads of abuse from all angles and he took it on the chin and kept on improving. Still young too and I hope he's here for many more years
Yeah i see your point with Agger, although i do see gerrard having a few more seasons with us yet so maybe if he has a couple of injury free seasons he would be the best candidate, what would be your opinion of agger captain if he did prove his fitness for a couple of seasons?? I just feel he would lead by example more than Skrtel who I still believe can be a bit erratic at times when it comes to going through the back of players needlessly ... And as much as i love andy carroll i can't see him being captain material, especially after what i saw at newcastle, very unprofessional, but i hope i'm proved wrong!
Agger would be a fantastic captain, I remember seeing him talk about Torres and how he lacked "commitment" or something along them lines. He also brings a calming influence to our back for and never panics, very classy player. with that said his fitness has improved this season and his injuries having been unlucky ones.
yep definately agree with that! ... This is a question i like to ask fellow liverpool fans 'Who out of the new signings this season do u think will perform the best NEXT season??' Downing, Adam, Carroll, Coates, Enrique, Bellamy or henderson??
Carroll if he's given a good run of games, he's steadily improved through out the season and with possibly more players coming in this Summer he could shine next season. And on the note sir, I bid you good night. Take it easy mate
