I'm not sure to be honest. The circle of players would already be there, so it would be the choice of the opposition to decide to run into them. It isn't a case of a player doing his thing and then another player obstructing him while he's doing it.

In fact, there's a chance that the opposition would be booked for fouls a lot by trying to barge through the circle.

For free kicks, have every player except the taker make a tunnel towards the goal-line so the ball can pass through their legs safely to the back of the net without interference

Huge great fat lad in goal (we'll call him 'the bus'), nine strikers, one lad to kick it to them (who we'll call 'the bus conductor').

I wish we'd try this in a friendly.

Lie on top of the ball, face down with the ball on your belly, and use your arms and legs to sort of 'slide' along the floor. Keep doing this constantly throughout the entire game, resulting in hundreds of free kicks, frustrating the **** out of the opponent and hopefully holding on for the draw.

    Take a massive player...

Take a tiny player with amazing ball skills...

Place tiny player on massive player's shoulders...

Chip ball onto tiny player's head...

Watch as massive player charges up field with tiny player balancing ball allowing it drop for massive player to blast a volley in from point blank range!

One thing I've always wondered is that why don't we see more players nipping the ball inbetween their feet and jumping with it around players or even over the top of tackles? Is there some kind of rule against it?

Or constant flips from handstand to feet with the ball nipped between the legs.

Rugby lineout tactics for long throws and corners. Take them all far too high for any player to get to, but get two of your centre halves to hoy a striker who's decent in the air up towards the ball. Free header everytime.

Why don't players sit on the shoulders of team mates when corners come in. Loft the ball in high, job done.

Ah, now that's not allowed in the rules. Climbing, even on your own players, is most definitely forbidden. Came up in You Are the Ref a couple of years back. <ok>

Form a perfectly straight, single file line and constantly backheel to the guy behind you; running to the back of the queue afterwards as it moves slowly forwards.

    It will need practise but...

Player on top keeps the balls between his legs whilst player carrying the other player keeps on running until they're one on one with the goalkeeper. Player with ball between his feet squares it for the other player for a simple tap in.

Lie down on the ball, face down and cover it with your belly.
Slowly crawl along with the ball under your belly doing your best to shield it.
Do this all the way to a decent shooting position.
Players risk being penalised if they kick you to get the ball.

1). Get 10 players to link together and form a long line

2). Run around in this line and sort of 'herd' all 11 opposition players into a corner, including the keeper

3). Once complete, bring the line around and form a linked circle, so all 11 opposition players are trapped inside the circle, and they would be booked for fouling if they tried to push their way out

3). Take your remaining goalkeeper and use him to score ****loads of goals unimpeded

You'd have to herd them up again after every goal as you'd need to be out of their half for k/o. Labour intensive. And they may get wise to it.
