I wish it could have ended in a different way but that’s in the past and now I’m excited about my time here."
Not so sure 58. Those are generic statements that you expect all footballers to make. Gerrard regularly states Liverpool and England can win everything, does he REALLY mean it or is he doing it to save face? I'd have no problems if Dempsey said 'I enjoyed playing under Hughes at Fulham as well as Jol' but that statement seemed much more like a dig at Jol more than anything.
