Fair dos that's one, severnside remember it now I've seen that video, age catching up with me, was there ever an agreement to lease the land at severnside?

Did Whitchurch get to the planning stage? I thought the concensus from the local populace was a distinct no thanks, cant remember syston common or fishponds lido getting to the planning stage either, then again maybe it would have helped your cause if you actually owned the land!
 
In most of cases like these, I presume that the applicant would only lock into purchase/lease of the land subject to a successful pre-planning application. The pre-planning application is relatively inexpensive and the Local Planning Officers will let the applicant know whether the full application, with perhaps modifications, will meet with their approval. So I don't know how far down the road the applications went.
