Where were the fair play people when this oligarch was allowed to bring his polluted money to your shores? If his reason for departing Chelsea is guilt then let him take that thought back to his buddy in the Kremlin and get him to stop this insanity. I think the reason could be that finally the world has found him out to be what most people have always thought he was and now he will hide from the truth in company with the cretin at the centre of the storm. I rather hope he had room in the baggage hold of his private jet to take all the other Russian dross home with him but then again I forgot that they all have one of their own to bail out of the country.
Perhaps this is the time for all that evil money to be thrown out of our game along with the cash holders and their entourages. Remind me again how many foreign entities hold key stakes in vital industries over there because I believe that the Chinese have major money in Hinkley Point with Hauwei being one of the suppliers of electronics and EDF as one of the other stake holders. Mind you I must admit we are not much better in Canada at blocking foreign investment and let's just hope it doesn't bite us in the arse at some future date.
