'plan A isn't going quite right (unlike Cotts)'

I wonder how Cotts is feeling tonight.
Probably - 'If only I'd been given Junior's budget'.

'The usual suspects are ready to pounce I see (Redprintt) .......lol'
    Why 'lol' 1For ?
Bet your life I'll be on his back if he screws up the best budget a manager has had in many a year.

I loved Cotts and the way we romped L1 and the JPT that season, and there is probably truth in what you say about budgets (some very weird stuff went on last summer), but blindly sticking to 3-5-2 every game and deploying your subs after 85 minutes (or not at all) when losing from half time is nothing to do with budget.

He lost the plot come the end.
But that league one title and jpt was a fantastic season.
Strange he has not got a club at present.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic here RR but I agree - I'm amazed that a league 1 club hasn't snapped him up.

The first time I set eyes on Daniel Sturridge was when he came on for a 10 minute cameo against us in the FA Cup 6th round (I think) youth game for Man City with the score at 2-2. He promptly scored 2 and his quality was there for all to see. I went on old 606 that night and begged for us to sign him on loan but he went to Chelsea not too much later for about £5m.

I feel the same way about this lad. He is a natural goal scorer who is instinctively in the right place at the right time and I think he will score lots for us now that we have the midfield to supply him. I don't agree with the inexperience thing, if they are good enough, they are old enough and he is hardly a small kid anyway...

I am that confident about it that tried to get a bet on him tonight as top scorer but the bookie I use isn't offering anything yet...

I don't think it's that great of a budget, not sure Cotts knew who he wanted..
The vibe I get from you is, anything less than a top 3 finish it will be failure......and if we do, it will all be down to the budget.........I can see you are waiting to pounce RP, you just so want him to fail...

This kid is natural goalscorer see that from that video, think he will score loads for us.
    :1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down:

Kojak,Tomlin,Abraham that is a pretty tasty strikeforce end.

I see Chelsea fans are not happy, they wanted him to stay and play.

Does anybody think that Kodjia's nose has been put out of joint enough for him to leave? Just a question after some of the match comments from yesterday when some say he didn't look interested.

I thought that his home work for the summer from the boss would be to spend 3 months studying the offside law but clearly, he didn't bother.

Likewise, there were several occasions yesterday when he could have fed Abraham for another goal but he choose not to pass. Patience will be running out with him soon if he doesn't start acting like a team player...

There was was point when he just needed to pass to Tammy who would probably have scored.

He did get goals last year, but I have said before that several were not meaningful. The 6th against Bolton for example where the game was won by then and many others. He had a barren spell mid season when we were struggling and looked very disinterested to me.
He had 4 or 5 half chances on Saturday, but to be fair one or two, I would have done better.

There was one occasion on Saturday when he ran through on goal and Abraham was screaming for the ball only to be ignored and the defender tackled him.

Often wasteful and I would be surprised if he had another season like last. Hopefully I will be proved wrong but I think it would be dangerous to put too much onus on Kodija.
