Swampy - how can Dalman turn around and accept £7M when he's come out again saying this............
A defiant Dalman said: âWe are not going to take a loss on a player who was a World Cup star in Brazil.
âWe have made it clear what our price is and that wonât change.â
City will not accept a loss on a player they signed for around £11m from Sevilla a year ago, and wonât be bullied into accepting a lower fee.
âWe will do the right thing for Cardiff City and the player,â said Dalman.
âOur position has not changed. âWe will not take a loss on a player who did so well for Chile in Brazil.â
Inter being a "big club" are trying to bully this deal through with constant press releases saying how close they are - I sincerely hope Dalman sticks to his guns and tells them to **** off.
BTW, I don't know if anyone else has picked it up, but there's a rumour going around that City have offered Medel a new deal to stay with us to get us back to the Prem next season. It includes an incentivised payment reward for doing so, and an opt out much reduced release clause next season if we don't.
The other incentive (don't how much that would be to him) is we would make him captain as well as solving our CB problem if he stayed........interesting!!
