Unfortunately, those sort of opinions are becoming the NORM, thats the most frightening thing.
I don't normally do politics, however I don't think the political system matters...democracy,
communism, dictatorships or whatever...they all exist to benefit a political elite whose only concern
is to maintain their position within that elite. Politicians (with the noble exception of one or two) exist
merely to determine the very minimum the ordinary Joe is afforded to deter them from rebelling. Religion,
Sex, Music, Sport, TV's, Cinema's etc.are all used by the state to fool people into believing their 'lot' is
better than it actually is.
The state also perpetuates the myth (through the press mainly, but also by
restricting university education (knowledge) to as many ordinary people as possible) that the 'enemy'
are people of a different colour or culture or religion, when in fact wars, religious intolerance, racism etc.
are all used as a tool by the political elite to maintain their position.
