ps be good 2 meet up at the greenman dude.....I tend 2 dump my kids on inlaws Saturday afternoon so I can relax for the rest of the wknd happy days ....keep in touch and look at grabbing a ticket or so for nxt year brother <cheers>

Joe Cocker, the greatest performances of any track by any singer ever imo Aber <ok>.

Makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, gives me goose bumps and puts a lump in my throat every single time, fantastic.

Story goes they had female backing vocalists who couldn't get through the crowd to get to the stage in time so the band had to improvise on the spot. Makes it even better

Glasto was fantastic mate but got to say Motorhead were absolutely MAGNIFICANT.

Imagine every beat of the bass drum hitting you like a sledge hammer. You felt it just as much as you heard it, it was like having a martial amp strapped to your chest. Old-school rules, kids today not got a fekkin clue

Only half the gig which is a shame.

Don't you think Al Pacino is a dead ringer for Phill Campbell?

I loved that stumpy <ok>>>>>and I could imagine how much you enjoyed the energy going on with this lot>>>>shame they don't put bands like that on at prime times and boot the wappers down the order.......that west guy and the music industry is taking the mick, how the hell is that fella making so much money when its clear that he isn't a musician hey.??

Oh Man, had a one off. Completely knackered now Whiff, walked so much my knees have gone numb, worth it though.

Check these out buddy, they're now in 'one of my favourite bands' list. They're called GOAT and their back story is that they're from a voodoo cursed town in Sweden. I just got hypnotically drawn to them, surreal.

After your recommendation Stumpy I trawled through the Glastonbury footage on my iplayer and watched an hour of GOAT's set.

Blew my mind, mate...reminds me of a few of the bands who did the festival circuit in the seventies..Gong, Henry Cow, Quintessence, Hawkwind etc.
