Phwoaar...the Exploited....that brings back some memories.

I was living in Hull 1980/81...a little slip of a 20 year old & there was this nightclub/venue called the Wellington Club (The Wellie). It was a meeting place for all the skins/punks/anarchists/weirdo's etc & they had bands playing there three/four nights a week.....usually local punk bands, but once every couiple of weeks they'd have a mre 'named' act. I had the pleasure of seeing The Exploited, UK Subs, Rezillo's & loads of other 'punk bands. Never forget watching the Exploited, standing at the front singing along to 'F**k a mod'.

There was a compilation album out at the time called Mrs. Wilson's children, named after the old lady who used to run the place. Below are a couple of the bands who played at the Wellie club and feature on the album. Hope you enjoy.
